Drops a Cylinder, Then Comes Back?

Took the TNT out today and hit a strange issue, the riding felt normal at first, then out of nowhere it started running on just two cylinders and backfiring a bit, and before you ask there werent any warning lights, and nothing obvious. The weird part? if I roll on the throttle and get it up to about 2000 rpm, all three cylinders come back online like nothing happened. Although I'd admit I did get some water in the tank earlier (rookie move, I know), but I'm not convinced that's the root cause, it feels more like something electrical or a sensor acting up.
It's intermittent, which makes it even harder to pin down, I'd like to avoid the full diagnostic rabbit hole if it's something common.

Sounds like something's off with the coil or crank position sensor. This ghost issue is quite common though. Mine had it before and it turned out to be a corroded connector making it go nuts under low RPM.

It could be the ignition or fuel. Maybe coils, plugs, or a loose wire are making a cylinder drop at low RPM, but it gets better when you accelerate. Water in the tank might also be the problem. Did you drain the tank or just add more fuel? Try changing plugs or checking coils before going too far.

Before anything you should first check coil connections or if there is a fouled plug. There was one time my TNT acted the same. Nothing big it was just a loose injector clip causing weird misfires under light throttle.
