Cracked tank cover

I'm new here and this is my first post in this forum. So I picked up a 2017 Benelli TNT 1130R with about 5,000 miles on it. The previous owner kept it in great shape, but I've noticed some fine cracks on the plastic tank covers, especially around the screw holes. I've done a bit of research and saw discussions online mentioning that the fuel tank itself can expand and cause this, but I haven't really found what's a good solution for this.

Has anyone here experienced this on a later model TNT, and if so, what did you do about it? I'm trying to decide if I should just live with it or try a DIY fix. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

Ah, pretty common issue on those plastics, especially near the screw holes where stress concentrates, you could gently sand and use a flexible plastic adhesive or epoxy to fill and reinforce the cracks.
