I changed the oil on my buddy's Benelli TNT 600 the other day and noticed a slight oil film around the rocker cover. The bike runs perfectly without any strange sounds, but since it's got 9,000 km on it, I thought I'd check the valve clearances while I'm at it.
It seems like there might be a leak around one of the bolts on the cover. I didn't spot any tears in the gasket, but I haven't removed it completely yet.
Has anyone else experienced this? Should I go ahead and replace the gasket now, or would it be better to just tighten that bolt and keep an eye on it?
